Toronto Sign Reports

Report an Illegal Sign

Upload a photo and we'll extract the location and sign information, then send a report to bylaw enforcement.

⚠️ Do NOT submit permit-exempt signs:

  • • Real estate signs
  • • Open house directional signs
  • • Garage sale signs
  • • Advocacy signs
  • • Community, charitable, religious and school signs
  • • Signs for services contracted by home/property owner

Your email is not shared. We send you a copy of the sign report.

Check this if you have already taken down the illegal sign. This helps bylaw enforcement prioritize active violations.

Location Required

GPS location data is required for bylaw enforcement. Please ensure location services are enabled when taking the photo. We use AI to analyze the sign content and all data is used solely for municipal reporting purposes.

iPhone users: Enable location services and try changing camera settings to "Most Compatible" format in Settings → Camera → Formats if needed. On mobile devices, if your photo doesn't contain location data, we'll use your browser's location as a fallback.
